Insert the medicine into the rectum. Empty the bowel beforehand if possible. To improve lubrication, you can warm the suppositories in your hand or dip them briefly in hot water.
Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for longer than 3 days without medical advice. If symptoms persist or recur regularly, you should consult your doctor.
Overdosing?
A variety of overdosing symptoms may occur, including nausea, vomiting, sweating, drowsiness and hepatic coma. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.
If you have forgotten to take this medicine,
continue taking it as normal (i.e. not double the prescribed amount) at the next prescribed time.

Which age group should be considered?
- Infants under 6 months: The medicine should not generally be used in this group. There are preparations that are more suitable in terms of active ingredient strength and/or dosage form.
- Children aged 2 years and over: The medicine should not generally be used in this age group either. More suitable preparations are available.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, there are no indications that the medicine should not be used during breastfeeding.
If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk associated with use in the case of a contraindication.
What adverse effects may occur?

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient has an analgesic and antipyretic effect. It also has mild anti-inflammatory properties. It blocks the formation of certain messenger substances in the body, known as prostaglandins. These are significantly involved in the development of pain, fever and inflammation.
