Chia seeds have traditionally been used in Mexican cuisine both raw and cooked. Whether as a tasty ingredient in salad dressings or as a chia gel, which is made by soaking in water - there are many different ways to use them. In the USA and other countries, chia seeds are often used in muesli, spreads and yoghurt with fresh fruit to create a healthy and filling snack. Chia seeds are 100% native to Latin America and provide an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, protein and fibre. With a calorific value of 444 kcal per 100 g, they provide long-lasting energy and support a balanced diet.Recommended consumption and storage
It is recommended not to consume more than 15 g of chia seeds per day. The product can be consumed directly, without heating or adding water, and should be stored away from light, in a dry place and out of the reach of small children. According to the Novel Food Regulation, the chia content in bread products may not exceed 10%.Packaging and contents
