The VentStar® Helix neonatal breathing circuit in detail
The VentStar® Helix neonatal breathing circuit is made of EVA and is a single-use device. The dual heated tubes enable particularly gentle ventilation by warming and humidifying the supplied breathing air. This prevents lung damage caused by cold, dry air and improves mucociliary clearance. Thanks to the innovative double spiral, the breathing air is warmed more evenly than with conventional breathing tubes. The resistance values are optimised as there is no heating in the hose itself.
