Erler Zimmer sacral pressure ulcer wound moulage in detail
Wound moulage for sacral pressure ulcers, untreated
The moulage depicts the sacral area with an untreated pressure ulcer in which the tissue has died due to persistent pressure and necrotic tissue is visible. The exact size of the necrosis cannot be determined and requires surgical treatment. The moulage adheres by itself to simulated patients or manikins and can also be attached with special skin glue for longer training sessions. The anal fold is available to apply the challenging dressings. The moulage is supplied including a storage box.
Wound moulage for sacral decubitus ulcers, cleaned
The moulage represents the sacral area with a surgically cleaned pressure ulcer in which the necrotic tissue has been removed and wound pockets are present. The wound can be delivered freshly cleaned or with wound exudate and is perfect for explaining and practising vacuum therapy. The anal fold is present to illustrate typical dressing challenges. The moulage adheres automatically to simulated patients or manikins and can also be attached with special skin adhesive for longer training sessions. The moulage is supplied with a storage box.
