Erler Zimmer exercise model of white skin cancer - enlarged in detail
This enlarged exercise model shows you a normal basal cell carcinoma, a squamous cell carcinoma (spinalioma) and a malignant melanoma. Different variants of the appearance of skin cancer are illustrated. Skin cells can be damaged by prolonged exposure to the sun. If these damaged cells cannot die or repair themselves, they degenerate and visible skin cancer develops. The skin cancer exercise model was developed to help healthcare educators explain the different types of skin cancer and their appearance. The extended exercise model shows you a normal basal cell carcinoma, a squamous cell carcinoma (spinalioma) and a malignant melanoma. Different variants of the appearance of skin cancer are shown. The skin cancer training model consists of the training model itself, a sturdy base, a two-page instruction card (in German), a stand and a storage box. The size is 21.6 x 28 x 1 cm.
