What age group should be considered?

- Breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, there is no evidence that the medicine should not be used during breastfeeding.

What adverse effects may occur?

What should you bear in mind?
- Only use laxative medicines for a short time without a doctor's recommendation. Longer-term use may lead to chronic constipation and/or other problems. If there is no success after short-term use, consult your doctor or pharmacist.- Caution: Laxatives are not suitable for weight loss.
- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore always tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicine you are already taking before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.
How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient stimulates the production of mucus in the intestine after being introduced into the rectum, thereby increasing the lubricity of the stool. It also causes increased absorption of water into the bowel and thus both softening of the stool and an increase in volume, which then reflexively results in defecation due to the expansion of the bowel wall.Application
- Constipation- Facilitation of bowel evacuation and softening of the stool in certain illnesses, such as painful bowel disorders
The medicine should only be used if the constipation cannot be remedied by changing the diet or swelling preparations.

- 1-2 suppositories- 1 time daily
- Adults
- 1 hour before the intended defecation
- Another suppository can be used for persistent constipation.
