Lac®-Ophtal® MP in detail
For mild and occasional dryness of the eyes
Lac®-Ophtal® MP is a pleasant refreshment for the eyes and an inexpensive alternative to conventional tear substitutes. It relieves the feeling of dryness in the eyes and provides rapid moisturisation.
The ingredients of Lac®-Ophtal® MP include 20 mg povidone, water for injection, boric acid, cetrimide, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment, sodium chloride and Lac®-Ophtal® MP for wetting and rewetting hard contact lenses.
The dropper bottle of Lac®-Ophtal® MP is suitable for repeated use. Each 10 ml bottle contains 2% povidone, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide solution, boric acid and water, preserved with cetrimide.
Lac®-Ophtal® MP provides refreshment and soothing for the eyes. It improves the moisturisation of the eye surface in case of dryness, burning or tiredness of the eyes, caused for example by prolonged television or screen work, heating air or air conditioning. In addition, Lac®-Ophtal® MP is also suitable for rewetting while wearing hard contact lenses.
Please note that Lac®-Ophtal® MP is not suitable for soft contact lenses. Once the bottle has been opened, the product is stable for 6 weeks.
