Venipuncture set with safety mechanism for short infusions
The venipuncture set with safety mechanism is ideal for short infusions, injections, transfusions and blood sampling. It is made of high-quality chrome-nickel steel and has a microsiliconised precision cut for precise punctures. The fixation wings are colour-coded to make the size easily identifiable.
The tube section of the piercing device is 30 cm long and kink-resistant, with good resilience. It is DEHP and latex free, flexible and transparent for easy monitoring of fluid flow. The Lock attachment and the Lock locking cone ensure a secure connection and enable use with standard pressurised infusion sets.
The venipuncture set has various safety features. The puncture properties remain unchanged and the activation mechanism is easy to operate. An audible safety mechanism emits a clear "click" sound to indicate successful activation.
