Erler Zimmer auscultation simulator in detail
The auscultation simulator is a valuable aid to familiarising yourself with heart diseases, especially those that students or doctors do not often encounter during their practical work.
This unique model simulates the heart sounds of the healthy heart as well as the sounds that occur in various heart diseases. Using the stethoscope, 20 different heart sounds can be heard at 4 auscultation points (aortic, pulmonary, tricuspid and mitral valve). At 3 points, 10 different breath sounds can also be heard. The heart rate and volume of the sounds can be adjusted. The simulator consists of a lifelike torso with soft skin and a digital function unit with a display in English. Instructions in English are also included.
