OPSITE® Flexifix non-sterile 10cm x 1m in detail
The OPsite Flexifix is a transparent film that is used to secure primary wound dressings. It is waterproof so that the patient can shower with the dressing in place. The film is made of polyurethane and forms an effective barrier against bacteria to reduce the risk of external infection. At the same time, it allows the skin to breathe and prevents skin maceration.
The OPsite Flexifix is particularly snug and stretchy to offer the patient a high level of comfort. The smooth surface of the film reduces the transmission of shear forces to the skin and is therefore also suitable for preventing pressure ulcers. The OPsite Flexifix is transparent, stretchable and as snug as a second skin. It is waterproof and bacteria-proof and has a particularly skin-friendly adhesive. The low-friction surface provides additional comfort. The OPsite Flexifix is latex-free and packaged non-sterile.
