Pure Encapsulations Selenium 55 is a dietary supplement that protects against oxidative cell damage and supports the immune system. It contains 11 mg selenomethionine, an organic selenium compound that is easily absorbed by the body. The product is yeast-free and helps to cover an increased need for selenium. Selenium is an important co-factor for enzymes, protects cells from oxidative stress, supports the immune system and thyroid function, contributes to sperm production and helps to maintain hair and nails. Pure Encapsulations® products are of high quality, free from unnecessary additives, lactose, gluten, artificial colours, trans fats and anti-caking agents. The recommended intake is 1 capsule per day with a meal. The capsules should be stored in a cool, dry place and out of the reach of children. Each pack contains 90 capsules.
