What are infusion needles?
Infusion needles are required for two purposes:
- To inject medication or liquids into the body
- To be able to remove liquids (e.g. blood)
Important: All infusion needles have a best -before date (usually five years) and must be replaced after this date has been exceeded. This also applies to needles that are still sterile and in their original packaging.
When are infusion needles used?
