RehaSplint grinding splint in detail
The RehaSplint grinding splint is used to relieve jaw discomfort and CMD symptoms. The temporary occlusal splint can be used immediately and without adjustments. Acute discomfort is relieved from the first wearing. The splint is available in the sizesSoft (≈40 Shore A), Medium (≈50 Shore A) and Hard (≈Shore A). The Medium size is recommended as an entry-level model.
Applicable for these symptoms:
- Occlusal disorders
- Bruxism (teeth grinding or clenching)
- Muscular imbalances
- Tension due to relieving postures
- CMD complaints
The splint can be worn both during the day and at night, but it does not replace a visit to the doctor.
Notes:
- not to be used for larger gaps in the posterior region
- not (or only under medical supervision)to be used in case of strong gag reflex or disturbed swallowing reflex
- intended for temporary use only, does not replace bite correction by the dentist
