The acai berries come from South America and thrive particularly well in the moist soil of the Amazon region. They are similar in colour and size to blueberries, but have a slightly earthy to nutty flavour. As the berries spoil quickly, they are carefully processed into a high-quality powder immediately after harvest.
The acai berry is the small red to black berry of the "acai palm" (Euterpe oleracea). As it mainly grows in areas where mechanical harvesting is difficult or impossible, the berries are harvested by hand.
About 1 kg of acai powder is produced from 5 kg of acai berries. The powder consists of 100% pure acai powder.
Recommended intake: Stir 1 x 5 g powder or 1 x 8 vital measuring spoons (included) into juice or yoghurt every day. Do not exceed the specified amount. Food supplements cannot replace a healthy and balanced diet. Keep the product out of the reach of children.
