The ingredients come from the hawthorn plant and act as a natural mixture. About the plant itself:
- Appearance: shrub-like tree with thorny branches, small, deeply lobed leaves and small white flowers. The ripe fruits are bright red.

- Main ingredients: procyanidins, flavonoids (vitexin, hyperoside)
- Plant parts and preparations used: mainly extracts and tinctures of leaves, flowers and berries.
The ingredients cause a slight increase in cardiac output by increasing the heart rate and dilating the blood vessels. They improve blood flow to the heart muscle and coronary vessels.
