Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the nature of the symptoms and/or the course of the illness. If symptoms persist or recur regularly, you should consult your doctor.

Overdosing?
A variety of overdosing symptoms can occur; the first signs are headaches, ringing in the ears, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

If you forget to take the medicine,
continue taking it as normal (i.e. not with twice the prescribed amount) at the next prescribed time.

In general, make sure you take the dose carefully, especially with infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.

A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information on the package leaflet. Since the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.

What speaks against use:

Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients

Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist about this:
- Increased intraocular pressure (glaucoma)
- Enlarged prostate

Which age group should be considered?
- Children under 3 years of age: The medicine should not generally be used in this group. There are preparations that are more suitable in terms of active ingredient strength and/or pharmaceutical form.

What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: Based on current knowledge, use is not recommended. Breastfeeding may need to be considered.

If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk associated with use in the case of a contraindication.

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient helps with allergies, relieves itching and has a pain-relieving effect. It suppresses the effect of the body's own substance histamine. Histamine is a type of messenger substance that plays an important role in the development of inflammation and allergic reactions. By blocking this messenger substance, the allergic reaction process is interrupted.
