KadeFlora® Lactic Acid Treatment in detail

KadeFlora Lactic Acid Treatment is a solution to restore the natural acidic vaginal environment and to regenerate and maintain the vaginal flora. The product should be used for seven consecutive days and only takes a few minutes. The disposable applicators are hygienically packaged and make it easy to insert the gel into the vagina. To prevent the active ingredient from leaking, the applicator should always be inserted in the evening before going to bed. It is advisable to do this while sitting or lying on your back with your legs slightly raised.

To use, knock the applicator downwards several times so that the gel collects at the tip. Remove the cap without bending or pulling it first. Carefully insert the applicator, then pull it out while pressing evenly on the gel reservoir. This automatically applies the lactic acid to the vaginal mucosa.

The active ingredients in KadeFlora Lactic Acid Treatment are (S)-lactic acid. The ingredients include benzyl alcohol, sodium lactate solution, purified water, hyetellose, propylene glycol and glycerol.

KadeFlora Lactic Acid Treatment treats discharge and intimate odour caused by bacterial vaginosis and reduces the risk of recurrent urinary tract infections. The product normalises the pH value, even during pregnancy. In the case of bacterial vaginosis, it can be used as a supplement to an antibiotic or as an alternative single therapy for mild symptoms.

The KadeFlora lactic acid treatment has been gynaecologically and dermatologically tested. The gel is free from fragrances and colourants.

The composition consists of (S)-lactic acid, benzyl alcohol, glycerol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, sodium lactate solution, propylene glycol and purified water.
