The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

How to use?
Insert the medicine into the rectum. Empty the bowel beforehand if possible. To improve lubrication, you can warm the suppositories in your hand or dip them briefly in hot water.

Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for longer than 3 days without medical advice. If the symptoms persist or recur regularly, you should consult your doctor.

Overdosage?
A variety of overdose symptoms may occur, including nausea, vomiting, sweating, drowsiness and hepatic coma. Contact a doctor immediately if you suspect an overdose.

Forgotten to use?
Resume use as normal (i.e. not with double the prescribed amount) at the next prescribed time.

- Alcohol abuse

Which age group should be considered?
- Infants under 6 months of age: As a rule, the medicinal product should not be used in this group. There are preparations that are more suitable in terms of active ingredient strength and/or pharmaceutical form.
- Children from 2 years of age: As a rule, the medicine should not be used in this age group either. More suitable preparations are available.

What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, there is no indication that the medicine should not be used during breastfeeding.

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient has an analgesic and antipyretic effect. It also has mild anti-inflammatory properties. It blocks the formation of certain messenger substances in the body, known as prostaglandins. These are significantly involved in the development of pain, fever and inflammation.
