How do the ingredients of the medicine work?

The active ingredients bind and neutralise stomach acid. The calcium and magnesium they contain form salts that are difficult to dissolve with stomach acid and are excreted in the faeces. In this way, the substances combat heartburn, belching and other acid-related stomach complaints. They also reduce the risk of ulcers occurring in the gastrointestinal tract as a result of hyperacidity.
