Sonnentor green coffee in detail
Reduce with pleasure. Green coffee is an absolute trend drink of our time. It is made from unroasted coffee beans and brewed like tea. In this form, its flavour is much more reminiscent of herbal tea. In the cup, it shines in a light grass green colour and smells pleasantly of hay and meadow. Ideally, you should drink it after sport or a meal. Try it out!

Does green coffee contain caffeine?
Yes, our green coffee also contains caffeine. On average, our green coffee has a caffeine content of 1.1 g per 100 g of beans, 0.033 g per bag and 0.020 g per cup (200 ml). In comparison, the caffeine content of our Single Origin is around 1.2 g/100 g of beans.
How much caffeine dissolves in the water, however, depends on the brewing time and the water temperature. Our test was measured when brewing at 100° C for 2 - 4 minutes. Under these conditions, 62.5% of the caffeine dissolves from the sachet into the cup.
