Vomex A® Coated Tablets in detail
Vomex A® Coated Tablets effectively relieve nausea and vomiting, especially in cases of travel sickness. The active ingredient dimenhydrinate belongs to the group of H1 antihistamines and acts quickly and reliably.
Product details:
- Active substance: 50 mg dimenhydrinate
- Excipients: magnesium stearate, hyprolose, hypromellose, carnauba wax, carboxymethyl starch, sodium type A, iron(III) oxide hydrate, black, silicon dioxide, highly dispersed, microcrystalline cellulose, beeswax, iron(III) oxide, carminic acid, aluminium salts, calcium hydrogen phosphate-2-water, sucrose, lactose-1-water, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide, Arabic gum, calcium carbonate, talc
Indications:
- Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting of various origins, especially travel sickness.
- For children from 6 years of age and over 30 kg body weight, adolescents and adults.
Dosage:
- Children (6-14 years, over 30 kg): 1 dragee 1-3 times daily (max. 3 dragees/day).
- Adults and adolescents (over 56 kg): 1-4 times daily 1-2 coated tablets (max. 8 coated tablets/day).
- To prevent travel sickness: First dose 30-60 minutes before travelling.
Side effects:
- Very common: drowsiness, dizziness, dizziness, muscle weakness.
- Frequent: Headache, sedation, dry mouth, palpitations.
- Rarely: Allergic reactions, skin rash, itching, oedema.
- Very rare: Hypersensitivity reactions, blood count changes.
Special information:
- Do not use in case of allergy to dimenhydrinate or other antihistamines, acute asthma, glaucoma, adrenal tumour, porphyria, prostatic hyperplasia with residual urine formation, seizures or cardiac arrhythmia.
- Caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding; consultation with a doctor required.
- Side effects such as drowsiness may impair the ability to drive and operate machinery.
Mandatory information:
- If symptoms persist for more than 14 days, consult a doctor.
- Do not use in children under 6 years of age or under 30 kg body weight.
Advantages
