Berk incense set annual cycle festivals in detail
This incense set brings back the magic of times gone by, when the Celts celebrated eight important festivals. Four of these were sun festivals, in which they honoured the equinoxes and the shortest and longest days of the year. The other four were lunar festivals, which took place in the middle of each solar festival. These festivals were characterised by an intense joie de vivre, but also by a deep respect for nature.
In our modern age with electric light and central heating, there is a danger that we no longer feel the rhythm of nature, the power of the sun and moon and the magic of change. Everything runs at the same pace, without the wonderful atmosphere that surrounds us. That's why we want to bring a little bit of this magic back into the world with this incense set.
The set contains a 36-page booklet with detailed descriptions of the festivals, incenses and rituals. It also contains eight incenses in 20 ml jars, each matching one of the festivals. A clay incense burner, a fireproof coaster with the "Flower of Life" motif, a packet of incense sand for insulation, ten tablets of incense charcoal with a diameter of 3.3 cm, stainless steel incense tongs and matches are also included. Measuring 26 cm x 26 cm, the set is complete and ready to bring you closer to the magic of times gone by.
