The initial therapy for acute respiratory failure is often NIV treatment with mouth-nose masks, as this also solves potential problems with mouth breathing. If NIV therapy is to be continued over a longer period of time and the patient has sufficient mouth breathing, this nasal mask is ideal for providing more comfort and at the same time avoiding complications that can occur during NIV ventilation with mouth-nose masks. Optimum patient comfort, even with maximum sealing, is guaranteed by a customisable mask cushion. The 4-point headgear fixes the mask firmly to the patient's head and prevents painful pressure points. Each mask delivery includes a size template and a pump ball for inflating the mask cushion.
