Erler Zimmer cattle model, 15 parts, 1/3 natural size in detail
Model of a female cattle on a stand. One side of the model shows the external anatomy of the animal, the other the musculature.
The model is divided into two parts in the sagittal plane, which makes it possible to show the gastrointestinal, reproductive and excretory systems.
The model can be divided into 15 parts:
- One limb
- Two hearts
- Lungs, small intestine and large intestine
- Three stomachs
- Kidney
- Uterus with one ovary (two pieces)
- Liver
- Tail, one half with musculature, one half with external anatomy
- Two halves of the body that can be divided in sagittal section.
When the internal organs are removed, the musculature of the thorax and abdomen become visible.
