The colonoscopy simulator is a training model that allows you to learn and practise how to use a colonoscope. It is made of special silicone that feels like a living body in the examination area. The colouring of the internal structures is modelled on the human body.
Features:
- An artificial polyp can be placed in the ascending and descending colon for identification and localisation.
- An LST (laterally spreading tumour) is shown in the ascending colon.
With optional add-ons, endoscopic procedures can also be practised on this simulator, such as removing a polyp, stopping bleeding or inserting a balloon enteroscope into the small intestine.
