With this set, you can easily depict the birth process. The 48 cm tall foetus model represents an average-sized, mature baby. The model's body is movable and can be displayed in various positions. It also has palpable anterior and posterior fontanelles.
The fabric model of the perineum (13 x 16.5 cm) is perfect for demonstrating the stretching of the perineum, a possible episiotomy and the passage of the head. The fabric perineum is attached to the flexible pelvic model. The flexible pelvic model can be manipulated to show how the pelvis moves during labour.
The placenta/umbilical cord/amnion/chorion model makes it possible to display the foetus model in a simulated amniotic sac. The amnion and chorion are shown in different colours.
