Supplied with PEDI Blue® newborn simulator with SmartSkin™ technology. The PEDI Blue® simulator has the unique feature of changing colour based on pre-programmed settings and depending on successful or unsuccessful ventilation or chest compressions. A CodeBlue® monitor electronically monitors ventilation and compressions and assesses whether or not they meet the standard for neonatal resuscitation. If the result is acceptable, the monitor changes the newborn's skin colour to a healthier colour. If ventilation and chest compressions are inadequate or absent, the monitor will change the neonate's skin colour to an alarming shade of blue. The newborn can be intubated and umbilical artery catheterisation is possible.
