The 500x size
A section of the compacta at a magnification of about 500x is shown in this model. It represents a section that is about the size of a pin and has a magnification of about 500x. It shows a complete Haversian bone system as well as the sections of two other bones. The bone lamellae are cut in steps to the centre and mounted on a base board. The size is 15 x 15 x 18 cm.
