Erler Zimmer breast phantom for mammography and breast tomosynthesis in detail
The breast phantom with fat and glandular tissue is a product developed to simulate breast imaging in mammography and tomosynthesis. It represents a realistic 4 cm thick breast that can be fixed under the compression paddle. With this phantom you can check and optimise the dose and image quality as well as train medical and technical staff. The phantoms are handmade and may vary slightly in size and design. You can receive the phantom as a whole or as a cutaway version. If required, it can also be supplied with cut-outs for dosimeters and pathologies. The size of the phantom is 15x11x4cm.
