The tube feeding simulator is an effective training device for you as a carer of patients with enteral tube feeding and for medical professionals. The model has three routes for EN tubes and allows you to practise with real liquid nutrition. To make it easier for you to understand the anatomy, the set includes feeding routes for demonstration purposes and the breast anatomy for placing on the model. You can confirm the positioning of the probes through auscultation and direct observation.
The simulator is compact and portable, and the neck is flexible to allow you to practise correct neck/head position. You can also perform oral/nasal feeding tube insertion and PEG tube placement. You can confirm the placement of the tube by auscultation. The transparent structure allows you to directly observe the progress and placement of the tube. The model can be set to the Fowler position and you can administer real liquid nutrition (infant formula). The tube feeding route chart and chest support sheet facilitate demonstration and anatomical understanding.
