Krill oil softgel capsules contain a very high proportion of OMEGA-3 fatty acids and are obtained from small crustaceans, which form the largest biomass on earth in the Antarctic Ocean. Each capsule provides 500 mg of krill oil, which is rich in DHA, EPA, astaxanthin, calcium, vitamin B1 (thiamine) and vitamin D. Krill oil differs from conventional fish oil preparations in that the fatty acids are bound to phospholipids, which significantly improves bioavailability and absorption in the body. The capsules are packaged in a 100% biodegradable BIO doypack containing 100 softgel capsules.
