Organic nori flakes

Our nori flakes are organically grown off the Atlantic coast of Argentina. These fine, sun-dried seaweeds are highly valued in Japan and China for their rich minerals. Their flavour is reminiscent of the nori leaves used for sushi.

Our nori flakes are 100% organic and natural. They are gluten-free and contain no artificial additives. Gentle air-drying at temperatures below 40°C preserves the valuable ingredients. The nori seaweed contains natural iodine and has a slightly gristly consistency.

You can simply sprinkle the nori flakes over your dishes, such as salads, soups, vegetable or pasta dishes, and enjoy them. However, please note that a moderate amount is recommended due to the high iodine content of the seaweed.

Preparing the nori flakes is simple: first wash the flakes and leave them to soak in water for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse them well and use them as a salad topping, in soups or in scrambled eggs.

Please note that the weight or volume of the nori flakes increases sixfold when they are soaked.

The recommended daily intake is 3 g of nori flakes, which should be sprinkled over or in your food. As nori is naturally rich in iodine, you should not exceed the average daily amount of 0.2 mg iodine to avoid thyroid disorders.

Store the nori flakes in a cool, dry place and keep them out of the reach of small children.
