Quercetin capsules 120 pieces of 500 mg in detail
The quercetin preparation consists of an important secondary plant substance extracted from the string tree. It is a yellow pigment that is found in various plant seeds, nuts, flowers, bark and leaves. Quercetin is also found in the peel of consumed foods such as tea, cabbage, onions and citrus fruits. However, as we often peel these, we lose large amounts of quercetin.
The Japanese string tree is a medium-sized tree with a height of up to 20 metres. It is deciduous and can live for several hundred years. It is considered robust due to its resistance to heat and drought.
The ingredients of the preparation are Sophora japonica extract (with at least 95% quercetin) and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose as a coating agent for the capsule shell.
It is recommended to take 2 capsules daily with sufficient liquid, preferably during a meal. The stated recommended daily intake should not be exceeded. It is important to note that food supplements cannot replace a healthy and balanced diet.
The product should be stored in a cool, dry place away from light. It should also be kept out of the reach of young children.
Ingredients per daily serving (2 capsules):
- Sophora japonica extract: 1052 mg
- Quercetin (at least 95%): 1000 mg
The nutrient reference values (NRV) are calculated in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 Annex XIII. However, there is no specific recommendation for quercetin.
