Inserting the Urisys 1100 test strip slide
When inserting the test strip slide, the end with the closed clip must point away from the device. The test strip slide is inserted into the device until the front end is flush with the front edge of the device.
Cleaning the Urisys 1100 test strip slide
In order to avoid carry-over and to prevent the urine from drying out, the contact surface for test strips must be wiped with a lint-free cloth after each measurement. In addition, the test strip slide should be cleaned once a day with water and, if necessary, cleaning agent and disinfectant. To do this, switch off the device and pull the test strip carriage forwards out of the device. The contact surface can be rinsed under running water and cleaned with 70% alcohol or disinfectant. Urine residues can form incrustations, especially in the area of the hold-down mechanism and the teeth. These can be easily removed with a soft brush.
