Erler Zimmer eye examination simulator in detail
This simulator offers you an innovative way of training in the examination of the fundus of the eye. With the possible combinations of slides, depth settings and pupil diameters, you can simulate a total of 90 different patient cases.
You will receive 10 slides with the following content:
- Normal ocular fundus
- Hypertensive retinopathy: Stage III arterial vasoconstriction, Stage I arteriosclerosis
- Haemorrhages and cotton spot foci, Salus-Gunnsches crossing sign
- Simple/non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy: Microaneurysms, haemorrhages and hard exudates
- Papilledema (chronic phase)
- Papilledema (acute stage)
- Glaucomatous optic atrophy: Glaucomatous altered optic disc, excavation and damage to nerve fibre bundles
- Retinal vein occlusion (acute stage): flame-shaped intraretinal haemorrhage and cotton spot foci
- Retinal vein occlusion (after retinal laser photocoagulation)
- Toxoplasmosis: Retinochoroiditis
- Age-related macular degeneration: macular exudates and subretinal haemorrhages
The model is supplied with a slide holder and a slide cap. Please note that an ophthalmoscope is not included in the scope of delivery. The size of the simulator is 42 x 22 x 38 cm and the weight is approx. 2 kg.
