Product description:
Folio® basic 2 is a food supplement that has been specially developed to meet the needs of women from the 13th week of pregnancy until the end of breastfeeding. It contains four essential ingredients: folic acid, vitamin B12, vitamin D3 and iodine.
- Folic acid (400 µg): From the 13th week of pregnancy until the end of breastfeeding, Folio® basic 2 provides the ideal amount of folic acid, which is essential for cell division and maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.
- Vitamin B12: Combined with folic acid in the tablets, as folic acid can only develop its full effect in the presence of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is therefore known as the "helper vitamin" of folic acid.
- Vitamin D3: Supports the maintenance of normal bone and muscle function and contributes to a normally functioning immune system. The vitamin D3 in Folio® basic 2 is obtained from highly purified sheep's wool, which means that no traces of animal DNA are detectable.
- Iodine: An essential mineral for the production of thyroid hormones and the function of the thyroid gland. Iodine also supports the normal functions of the nervous system and energy metabolism.
Folio® basic 2 is free from nanoparticles, lactose, fructose, gluten, preservatives, colourings and flavourings. The mini-tablets are easy to take and provide an optimal supply of nutrients during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Recommended intake:
Take one tablet daily from the 13th week of pregnancy.
Note:
Do not exceed the recommended daily amount.
