Glycilax for children in detail
Active ingredients:
- 750 mg glycerol 85%
Excipients:
- Cetomacrogol 1000
- Hard fat
- Magnesium carbonate, light, basic
- Bleached wax
Indication:
- Laxative for use in constipation and painful defecation.
Dosage:
- Insert 1-2 suppositories as required.
- Consult a doctor in case of persistent constipation.
Duration of use:
- Do not use long-term without consulting a doctor.
- Consult your doctor if the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.
Overdose:
- May cause increased urge to defecate, diarrhoea and irritation in the anal area.
Forgotten application:
- Use as needed, make up and continue therapy as discussed.
Method:
- Insert suppository into the anus, hold briefly under cold water if necessary.
- Leave to work for at least 1 hour.
Side effects:
- Very rare: Irritation of the rectal mucosa in sensitive persons.
- Inform your doctor if you experience significant side effects.
Interactions:
- Absorption of other rectally applied drugs may be reduced.
- Inform your doctor about the use of other medicines.
Contraindications:
