Ichtholan® 20% ointment is a proven choice for the treatment of superficial inflammatory skin conditions. Its main active ingredient, ammonium bituminosulphonate (Ichthyol®), is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and specifically promotes the maturation of boils. Contains ammonium bituminosulphonate (Ichthyol®), a sulphonated shale oil with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and circulation-enhancing properties.
Areas of application:
To promote the maturation of boils and for superficial inflammatory skin conditions such as abscesses and minor skin inflammations.
Recommendation for use:
Apply ointment generously to the affected skin area and cover with a bandage, change daily.
Wash off the ointment residue thoroughly before each dressing change.
