The water conditioner & drinking water disinfection consists of sodium chlorite (25%) and citric acid (50%). All components correspond to the original recipe.

Application description for disinfection:

To disinfect, mix both components drop by drop in a ratio of 1 to 1. Only make up as much as you need. A new mixture should be prepared before each disinfection. Make sure never to mix both bottles completely at once.

Reaction time:

The reaction time is about 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on the temperature.

Preparation container:

Use a glass or ceramic container for preparation. Metal containers should be avoided.

Storage:

Store the product at normal room temperature, protected from light and dry.

Minimum shelf life:

The product has a shelf life of at least 2 years.

Approvals and areas of use:

The product is approved as a drinking water disinfectant. It can also be used as a disinfectant in the private sector and in the food and animal feed sector. It is also a biocidal product for hygiene in the veterinary sector.

The activation of the liquid components A and B produces the biocidal active ingredient chlorine dioxide. Please note that biocidal products should be used with care. Always read the label and the enclosed information sheet before use.

Sodium chlorite solution (25%):

The solution is available in a specially tested HDPE dropper bottle with a dropper insert and a child safety cap.

Other names for the product are chloric acid sodium and Naclo2. The sodium chlorite content is 25% and corresponds to DIN EN 938 type 1. The CAS number is 7758-19-2, the EC number is 231-836-6. The product belongs to storage class 8B and has the UN number 1908.
