Polysept® Ointment 0.1 g/g is an antiseptic that is used for repeated, temporary application to damaged skin. It has an antiseptic effect and is used to treat pressure ulcers, lower leg ulcers, superficial wounds, burns and infected and superinfected skin conditions. The ointment contains povidone-iodine, which helps to disinfect and support wound healing.
Ingredients
- Active ingredient: povidone-iodine (0.1 g/g)
- Other ingredients: Macrogol, sodium hydroxide, purified water
Directions for use
- Recommended dose: Apply to the affected skin area once or several times a day
- Method of application: Apply evenly, cover with a bandage if necessary
- Duration of application: Until the symptoms of inflammation have subsided, maximum 14 days
