Method of use?

Take the medicine undiluted. Shake well before use.

The duration of use depends on the nature of the symptoms and/or the course of the disease. You should not use the medicine for longer than 2 weeks without medical advice.

Overdose?

In the event of an overdose, drowsiness, impaired consciousness, hallucinations and cardiovascular disorders may occur. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.
In general: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing, especially with infants, small children and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.
A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information on the package leaflet. Since the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.

What should you watch out for?

- Reactivity may be impaired even when used as directed, especially at higher doses or in combination with alcohol. Pay particular attention when driving or operating machinery (including household machinery) that could cause injury.
- Avoid excessive UV radiation, e.g. in solariums or during extended sunbathing, as the skin reacts more sensitively during use of the medicine.
- Sudden discontinuation may cause problems or discomfort. Treatment should therefore be stopped slowly, i.e. by gradually reducing the dose. It is best to seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
- Caution: If you use the medicine for a long time, the body may become accustomed to it and you may need an increasingly higher dosage to feel an effect.
- Caution if you are intolerant to sucrose. If you have to follow a diabetes diet, you should take the sugar content into account.
- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore always tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicine you are already taking before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient blocks receptors for a specific messenger substance called histamine. This blockade suppresses histamine-induced vasodilation and increased blood flow in the smallest hair vessels (capillaries). It also combats nausea via the same mechanism and has a calming effect.
