How to use?
Apply the medicine to the affected skin area(s). The area(s) treated with the product can be covered with a bandage.

Duration of use?
Use should be continued until the symptoms have subsided. The medicine should not be used for more than 5 days without medical advice. If symptoms recur after the end of treatment, please consult your doctor.

Overdosage?
Accidental ingestion of the medicine can lead to overdose symptoms, including abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headaches, cramps and even collapse. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing, especially with infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.

A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. As the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.

Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Hyperthyroidism
- Thyroid diseases, also in the past
- Dermatitis herpetiformis Duhring (immune disease with itchy rash with blister formation)
- Upcoming or recently completed radioiodine therapy

Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist about this:
- Benign goitre (goitre)
- Thyroid autonomy (certain form of hyperthyroidism)

Which age group should be considered?
- Infants under 6 months: The medicine may only be used after consultation with a doctor or under medical supervision.

What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor or pharmacist. They will check your particular situation and advise you accordingly as to whether and how you can continue breastfeeding.

- Hypersensitivity
- Acute severe allergic reaction affecting several or all areas of the body (anaphylaxis)
- Circulatory failure due to an allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock)
- Spontaneous (mucous) skin swelling (angioedema)
- Hyperthyroidism due to excessive iodine intake
- Accelerated pulse (tachycardia)
- Restlessness (inner restlessness)
- Hypersensitivity reactions of the skin, such as
- Contact dermatitis (allergic skin reactions that only occur with repeated use)
- itching
- reddening of the skin
- blistering
- Pain at the application site

Under certain circumstances, if large quantities of the active ingredient are absorbed, e.g. in the case of burns and prolonged use:
- Disturbance of the salt balance
- Changed concentration of water-binding substances (osmotic) in the blood
- Impaired kidney function
- Metabolic disorder with hyperacidity of the blood (metabolic acidosis)
