The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.How to use?
Apply the product to the scalp. Then massage the product in gently.
Wait at least 4 hours after application before moistening the scalp or hair. Wash your hands thoroughly after use. Avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes, eyes and open skin areas.
Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the type of symptoms and/or the course of the disease. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Overdosage?
If the medicine is used as described, no overdosage symptoms are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
Have you forgotten to use it?
Continue the application as normal (i.e. not with twice the amount) at the next prescribed time.
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing for infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.

The medicine is not suitable for women.
Which age group should be considered?
- Children and adolescents under the age of 18: The medicine must not be used.
- Adults aged 49 and over: The medicine should not normally be used in this age group.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: The medicine is generally not suitable for women. If, for any reason, the question of use should nevertheless arise, please consult your doctor.
- Lactation: In exceptional cases, consult your doctor, as the medicine is generally not suitable for women.

- Shortness of breath (dyspnoea)
- Inflammatory reactions of the skin
- Inflammation of the middle layer of the skin with pustules (acneiform dermatitis)
- Skin rash that appears fleetingly
- Increased hair growth outside the scalp, including on the face in women
- Itching
- Scaling of the skin
- Water retention (ôdema) (e.g. on hands, feet)
- Weight gain, if this occurs without a recognisable cause, please consult your doctor

For the information provided here, side effects occurring in at least one in 1,000 treated patients are taken into account.
- Antioxidants (e.g. butylhydroxyanisole, butylhydroxytoluene) can cause skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis), irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes.
- Emulsifiers (e.g. cetyl/stearyl alcohol) can cause skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis).
- There may be medicinal products with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medicine you are already using before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.
How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient lowers high blood pressure by dilating the blood vessels and thus reducing the resistance of the blood vessels.
When the active ingredient was used, increased hair growth was initially observed as an undesirable effect. This effect is now being utilised therapeutically. However, the mechanism of action responsible for this has not yet been clarified.
Effectiveness in the temple area (receding hairline) has not been proven.
