Enjoy our unroasted mate tea from Brazil and Argentina, a refreshing and slightly tart herbal tea flavour with a high caffeine content.
Mate tea is made from the finely chopped, dried leaves of the mate bush Ilex paraguariensis and is a popular infusion drink in South America. Traditionally, "mate" refers to both the drink and the drinking vessel. In various regions, it is also known as "yerba" or "chimarrão".
Our list of ingredients includes only mate tea, without any additives.
To prepare the tea, we recommend pouring boiling water over it and leaving it to infuse for 6-8 minutes, with one teaspoon per cup.
Please note that the specified daily amount should not be exceeded. Store the tea in a cool place away from light and out of the reach of children.
Each pack contains 100 g of loose herbal tea.
