stop'n grow is a proven remedy to stop nail biting and thumb sucking.
The bitter-tasting tincture of stop'n grow, available exclusively in pharmacies, works effectively against unwanted nail biting. The bitter substances it contains are completely harmless and only develop their effect on contact with the mouth. They stop any attempt to bite nails or cuticles and support the healing of inflamed areas, while bitten nails can grow back in peace.
In addition, stop'n grow helps to prevent consequential damage caused by thumb sucking and to wean off this behaviour. Although thumb sucking may seem harmless in young children in the first years of life, it can lead to unsightly jaw and teeth misalignments later on.
The application of stop'n grow is simple: the colourless and odourless liquid is applied to the nail, cuticle and also under the nails once or several times a day using the brush provided, similar to nail polish. As the tincture does not leave a coloured film, it can also be used over nail polish.
To avoid relapses, it is recommended to continue treatment for 1-2 months after the initial success.
