Advantage® spot-on solution offers a fast and reliable solution against flea infestations in dogs. The treatment works within 24 hours and provides long-lasting protection. A single application protects dogs against fleas for up to 4 weeks. The product can also be used to treat flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) if previously diagnosed by a vet.
Active ingredient and composition
The solution contains the active ingredient imidacloprid, which kills fleas within 24 hours. Each 1 ml of solution contains
- Active substance: 100 mg imidacloprid
- Other ingredients: 1 mg butylhydroxytoluene (E321), benzyl alcohol
Indications
- Prevention and treatment of flea infestations in dogs up to 4 kg body weight
- Treatment of hair lice infestation (Trichodectes canis) in dogs
- Treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), if diagnosed by a vet
Effect and application
The fleas on the dog are killed within 24 hours of application. The effect lasts up to 4 weeks. Advantage® is simply applied to the dog's skin using a pipette.
Important notes
- Do not use on animals under 8 weeks (dogs) or 10 weeks (ornamental rabbits)
- Do not use in rabbits intended for human consumption
- Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to imidacloprid or any of the other ingredients
