B. Braun Novosyn® suture material in detail
The medium-term reiable, absorbable, synthetic braided suture material Novosyn® consists of a copolymer of 90 % glycolate and 10 % L-lactate. It is suitable for the adaptation of soft tissue and ligatures in all areas of application that require braided, medium-term, reactive, absorbable sutures. The suture material promises excellent knot tracking, very good knot retention and excellent knot repositioning. The significantly reduced tissue reaction leads to optimal wound healing.
