Dräger oxygen mask O2-Star® in detail
The shape of the O2-Star® face mask offers more comfort and provides a tight seal. The light weight and wide elasticated strap prevent the mask from slipping around the face. The straps are reinforced at the ends to prevent them from slipping through the mask. These face masks are available in two sizes: Small (S) and Medium/Large (M/L).
In order to find exactly the right option for each patient, the mask is available in different versions:
Non-Rebreather (sizes S and L/M): The reservoir bag ensures that even higher doses of oxygen can be administered. The ideal solution for acute oxygen therapy in an emergency. Includes 2.1 m connecting tube.
Medium concentration: Simple oxygen mask without reservoir. Suitable for oxygen therapy with a flow of up to 5-8 litres. The slits on the side of the mask allow the supplied oxygen to be mixed with the room air. Includes 2.1 m connecting tube.
Oxygen and aerosol therapy mask: Suitable for both oxygen and aerosol therapy at the same time. This mask is the ideal choice if your patient also requires inhaled medication. WITHOUT connecting tube
