AmbuMan Advanced in detail
The Ambu Man Advanced is a state-of-the-art training device with numerous functions. With its flexible and intuitive controls, you can operate the device conveniently from any PC, tablet or smartphone. This gives you unlimited scenario training that is aligned with the current ERC/AHA 2015 guidelines. There are no limits to your creativity. Operation is quick and easy, allowing you to create customised training scenarios and adapt them to the situation during training. CPR parameters and manual events are documented wirelessly for accurate evaluation and debriefing.
The Ambu Man Advanced takes debriefing to a new level. Individual assessment options in group training provide you with efficient training. Each participant receives their personal performance evaluation (up to four participants).
With the Ambu Maniking Management module, you have an operating system-independent and browser-based control system. You can freely programme scenarios and display and control the performance of up to six training devices in parallel. You can also access the training simultaneously from different end devices and visualise the results.
The AmbuMan Advanced has a simulated patient monitor that synchronously displays the vital signs that are set in the software. This allows you to train airway management, for example the use of laryngeal masks, laryngeal tubes or endotracheal tubes. Bag-mask ventilation and the use of the Guedel tube are also possible. The airways only open when the head is correctly overstretched.
The device can be defibrillated and has two electrodes (apex and sternum). It can defibrillate up to 360 joules and can be used with manual, semi-automatic and automatic defibrillators as well as with paddles. The Ambu Man Advanced also offers the option of transthoracic pacing.
The ECG simulation is compliant with the ERC 2015 guidelines. The ECG is displayed physiologically correct and recognised by the external defibrillator. The device has a 12-channel ECG display and the ECG can be programmed manually.
The manual control display allows you to control the ventilation volume, compression depth, hand position and gastric insufflation. It is also possible to train access techniques using the IV arm and IV leg.
The Ambu Man Advanced weighs 13.3 kg for the entire body and 25.1 kg including the carrying case. The length of the entire body is 165 cm.
Optionally, a battery pack is available for wireless operation.
