The haemostasis arm offers an extremely realistic appearance and function to make training lifelike. It looks and feels like a real arm. Artificial blood can ooze from the severed thumb or from the cut in the forearm, or from both wounds simultaneously. The severed thumb offers the opportunity to practise how to properly handle severed limbs. The intensity of the blood flow can be regulated and venous or arterial bleeding can be visualised. The blood flows into a collection tray and can be reused. The pressure points work realistically on the wrist and upper arm. You have to react as you would in an emergency and choose the appropriate measures to control the bleeding and treat the wound.
